Christopher Trigg Insurance Brokers provide a unique insurance product for the Chinese Restaurant Business sector.
Anglo Chinese Insurance Services Limited was formed in 1990 through a consortium of Christopher Trigg Limited Insurance Brokers, and a firm of Chinese accountants.
At the time Christopher was handling mortgages and pensions for the clients of the accountants and then decided to arrange an insurance policy to exclusively to insure Chinese Restaurants.
The scheme was set up with Albion Insurance Company (now Sterling Insurance) and continued running until 2003 when it was decided that Christopher Trigg would buy out the accountants and form a new company. The new company is Chinese Insurance Services Limited and it is now marketed to all brokers throughout England and Wales and has approximately 1,400 restaurants on cover.
Only Chinese and Oriental Restaurants are eligible under this exclusive scheme however the scheme will not accept any large scale deep fat frying, for example "Fish and Chips".
